What will happen if the card is exposed to a strong magnetic field such as an MRI machine? Is there a risk of the wallet demagnetizing and becoming inoperative?
The chip does not contain any magnetic elements that could demagnetize. The card chip is also protected against EMPs (electromagnetic pulses), ESD (electrostatic discharge) and X-rays in compliance with the ISO 7816-1 standard.
